Printable Zoo Animal Counting Worksheet

Students will count the zoo animals, color them, and trace the numbers at the bottom of the pages with crayons, colored pencils, markers, and gel pens.  Animals included in the book include an elephant, lions, monkeys, giraffes, bears, kangaroos, flamingos, penguins, turtles, and snakes.

After counting zoo animals, children will then trace the numbers on the zoo animal counting worksheet to practice forming numbers. When kids have finished coloring all 10 pages, they can go back through and read the simple sentence to practice not only counting, but reading simple sentences in these zoo animals emergent readers.
