Writing Numbers

This LOW PREP activity is perfect for helping Preschool, Kindergarten and First grade kids with writing numbers 1-20. I love that this LOW PREP activity includes both number and number words practice.

Writing Numbers in Words

First of all, print the download in color on cardstock. Then laminate the printable and cut them apart. Finally, use with a dry erase marker to make it it reusable. We suggest storing them in a ziplock bag for quick, easy, and reusable activity.

Kids will practice tracing both the number and the number words. Such a simple, fun summer math activity.

For extra practice, I like to have kids count out the same number of pom pom “beach balls” as the number on their pool. This makes it a great counting activity too! There are cards such that kids can practice counting to 20.
