Did you know these interesting sheep facts? Sheep have excellent hearing and can detect even the quietest sounds from long distances. They have a unique field of vision which allows them to see almost 360 degrees without having to turn their head. Sheep have great memories and can recognize up to 50 individual faces, including other sheep and humans. These fluffy creatures are naturally social animals; they prefer being in a group and often show signs of stress when isolated. Sheep are herbivores, meaning they only eat plants and grass. They have a four-chambered stomach to help digest their food. Their wool is not only used for clothing but also for insulation in products like blankets and carpets.
