Tips for Color by Number Addition Practice

  1. Allow your child a scrap piece of paper to solve the problems on if necessary.
  2. If your child is just learning addition you may use the crayons as math manipulatives to help solve the problems.
  3. The picture can easily be cut out and laminated or simply hung on the refrigerator to show off.
  4. Feel free to print off as many as needed if your child has any errors.
  5. Encourage your child to color within the lines even if the same color is used side by side. This way your child can say the addition problem and color to aid with memorization.
