Find the Letter

We love adding lots of themed activities to our school at home to keep children engaged with the material and happily learning. This find the letter educational activity is perfect for apple month in the fall. Students will practice a variety of early literacy skills as they use a bingo marker to complete the find the letter portion of these Apple Tracing Worksheets. Then, they will work on alphabet tracing of both upper and lowercase letters. Finally they can decorate and color their alphabet worksheets to make beautiful alphabet apples in red, green, yellow, or whatever other fun colour your toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartners, or grade 1 students would like.

Apple Tracing Worksheets

Simply print the black and white apple printable to help kids learn their alphabet letters. There is a page for each letter of the alphabet from A to Z. Use the pages for the letters you are working on in your letter of the week curriculum or program.

Letter Tracing

Students will use do a dot markers (also known as bingo markers, dot markers, or bingo dauber), crayons, or markers to mark all the upper and lowercase letters in the apple that match the featured letter on the leaf. This is such a fun letter find worksheet or alphabet i spy activity for kids!

After students have completed the letter find part of the apple activity, they will trace both the uppercase and lowercase letter at the bottom of the kindergarten worksheet. We like to use markers as they show up nicely and are easy for young hands to use.
