Fluffy Snow Slime

All you need are a few simple ingredients to make your pretty white snow slime:

Elmer’s White Glue
Baking Soda
Water
White Shaving Cream
Contact Lens Solution – must have boric acid and sodium borate in the ingredient list. We used Renu fresh or Equate brand.

Meaure 2/3 cup white Elmer’s glue to a bowl.

Next add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1/4 cup water and mix well.

Now add in 2 cups of white shaving cream and mix thoroughly.

Finally, slowly add in 1 Tablespoon of contact solution and then mix. Then add in the remaining 1 tablespoon and continue mixing.

*Important: your brand of contact lens solution must have both boric acid and sodium borate in the ingredient list to work correctly. This is what interacts with the glue to form the slime I recommend using Renu fresh or Equate brand.

Snow Slime Fluffy

After the slime separates from the bowl, remove it and knead for about 10 minutes. Don’t worry if it feels extremely sticky during this step, it’s totally normal!

Just a heads up! Making fluffy slime can get pretty messy. Don’t be alarmed if it sticks to your hands while you’re kneading it. Remember to knead it for at least 10 minutes. Giving the slime a 5-minute rest on the table before playing with it can also help. Enjoy the squishy fun! You can also add a little more contact solution if you are finding it is still too sticky after kneading. But be careful, if you add too much, the slime may become hard.
