Candy Corn Craft

Calling all kindergarten teachers and parents! Are you on the hunt for delightful autumn crafts? Look no further—this adorable candy corn craft is a perfect choice!

Kids will have a blast using wagon wheel pasta to create their very own candy corn masterpiece. This easy and engaging activity is a fantastic opportunity for little artists to get creative and personalize their fall art project in so many ways!

All you need to make this fun pasta project are a few simple materials: cardboard or thick paper acryllic paint or these fun paint markers markers liquid glue rubbing alcohol food coloring wagon wheel pasta (not cooked) glitter (optional) ziplock bags parchment paper or art trays (optional) googly eyes glue

All you need to make this fun pasta project are a few simple materials:

Simply combine rubbing alcohol and acrylic paint with your pasta in a ziplock bag. Seal it tightly and give it a good shake! Once the pasta is well-coated, spread it out on parchment paper to dry.

Before our class started, I sketched simple candy corn shapes on pieces of cardboard using a Sharpie. Depending on their age, some students might be ready to give this a try on their own—just remember to supervise those Sharpie markers closely! Now comes the fun part: let your students unleash their creativity and paint their candy corn! They can stick to the classic white, orange, and yellow, or switch things up with autumn hues, apple shades, Frankenstein colors, or whatever wild ideas they come up with!
