There are three sets of strips per page, with the first page containing both the uppercase and lowercase letters of the alphabet as well as a picture that begins with the letter, which is great for learning and practicing beginning sounds. There is also a spot for children to write their name. If these strips are laminated, children can practice writing their name in this spot with a dry erase marker, wipe it off and repeat. The letters of the alphabet on this first page are bold print which will help with letter recognition. Also on this strip is a left hand and a right hand to help children learn their left and right hands.

The second set of strips also contains three strips on the page.  The activities are all the same, except the for writing of the letters of the alphabet. On these strips, the letters are written in dot form in lines to show children how the letters are to look when they write them.
