4th of July Activity
This fun 4th of july printable allows preschool and kindergarten age kids practice key CVC words. They will read, write, and build them allowing kindergartners to achieve reading fluency.
Patriotic Activity for Kids

We added a touch of color for fun, but didn’t go crazy to save on color ink. I suggest printing on cardstock or laminating for durability. If you laminate them the activity is reusable with a dry erase marker!! This makes it perfect for a preschool or kindergarten 4th of July theme.
4th of July Printables
Now cut the CVC Word strips apart – there are 3 strips per page covering short a, short e, short i, short o, and short u CVC words. Then cut out the one page of red, white, and blue stars.
4th of July Theme
Practice CVC words with this patriotic CVC Words Activity for preschoolers and kindergartners. After reading the word on the strip, students will build the word out of the letter stars.
HINT: There are only as many stars as needed to complete the activity to save on ink and time cutting the stars out.
Finally, have students write the CVC word on the line provided. Again, if you laminated the cards you can use a dry erase marker to make the activity reusable.
This is such a fun way for kindergartners to practice cvc words during July for Fourth of July.
