Number names worksheets

To prepare:

• A4 paper
• Printer
• Laminator 
• Scissors
• Crayons  
• Mini erasers or counters (optional)

Print and laminate the hotdog number word cards, then print the recording sheets you want to use (they can be differentiated)

Prepare and laminate the unicorn cards, cut them up and place them in a container. You could also totally do a sensory bin for these too. A Halloween or October one perhaps? Students will choose a unicorn card, then find the number word on their recording sheet and trace and color the unicorn. You can also have them do the same thing but with number digits. You could also create a counting task from this set by adding counting cubes, the kids will choose a card, then link that many linking cubes together to create a tower to match the number.

This task can easily be differentiated with your learners. So have the younger kids work on identifying the numbers and more advanced learners working on their number word to number digit matching skills.
