What is an Antonym

An Antonym is another way to say opposite. So whether you introduce the activity as an opposite activity or use the fancy ford antonym –  either way it is going to be lots of fun matching up these funny opposite animals. This activity is great for teaching English Grammar to Kindergarten, first grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade students.
Whether you are a parent, teacher, or homeschooler – you will love this fun antonym activty to help kids practice identifying opposites. Making learning fun with a hands-on activity helps the concept stick much better than using a antonyms worksheet. Use this as extra practice, summer learning, literacy center, as part of an animal theme, or any other enrichment idea you have.
