All About Me Printable Puzzle

Kids will love this super clever, FREE All About Me Printable Puzzle activity that is great for getting to know kids as they head back to school.

All About Me

Back to school is a fun time to create an ‘about me’ craftivity with kids. It’s a simple time of the year to remember to record a child’s ‘life’. Favorites, dislikes, age, grade, etc. If you’re like me, you like looking back on things from the past and remember as well as see how things have changed! I like to use something different each year too. Sometimes it’s a printable, sometimes it’s a book entry and sometimes it’s puzzle just like this one.

This simple puzzle printable is a fantastic way to give each child the opportunity to share all about themselves in a creative way! This can easily be used at home with your own kids or with an entire classroom for back to school. 

 

All About Me Worksheet

All you need to complete this first day of school activity is the printable, crayons / colored pencils, and scissors. I included two different versions of the template. 

One has suggestions of what to fill each puzzle piece with. I’ve included: 

• Name & Self Portrait
• Age & Grade
• Favorite Food, Color & Book
• I like to….
• When I Grow Up…

The second page of the printable set has the same puzzle pieces, but they are not labeled. 

All About Me Activities

The first thing that I did was print out the printable sheet. We chose to use the labeled pieces. It was easier for my daughter to do on her own, and she feels best about that!  Students fill out each puzzle piece and then chose to color each piece separately. 

The next step is to cut out each piece from one another so there are individual puzzle pieces. She was able to cut them out, so it isn’t complicated cuts.  If you would like to, you could laminate the puzzle if you prefer, it will help preserve the life of the puzzle. BUT it is not required. 

Now kids can either put their own puzzle together or you could share with friends and classmates to help get to know each other better!
